What is Mountaineer Connect?
Mountaineer Connect unlocks the potential of West Virginia high school and college students by matching them with mentors who can provide education and career guidance. Our mentors are successful professionals from a wide range of industries (technology, finance, arts, science, medicine, law, and more) that can provide insight and guidance that's impossible to find in books, on the internet, or through traditional career resources.

Sign up Online
Sign up online with just an email and a phone number in 5 minutes or less. Once you sign up, we'll reach out to you
Get Assigned a Mentor
Get matched with a mentor who will reach out to schedule a 60-minute introductory meeting to learn more about you and your goals
College and Career Help
Your mentor will provide guidance and mentorship, as well as introductions to others who can give you insight on colleges and careers

The program is completely free. Mountaineer Connect is a nonprofit organization founded solely to help students.
Who should sign up?
We work with any West Virginia high school or college student. The only requirement we have is that you show up and have a positive attitude.
